Who we are
Ottawa Innovation Farm is Invest Ottawa’s AgTech testing and demonstration program, located at Area X.O — Canada’s secure, 5G-enabled test site. With small research plots, two mid-sized fields, and advanced tech (robotics, drones, AI, sensors), we help turn promising ag innovations into producer-ready solutions. Close to AAFC, CFIA, and Health Canada, we align trials with regulatory needs from day one.

2025-2026 Partnership Fund Program

RTO 9’s Partnership Fund initiative is designed to build on existing tourism products that enhance the region’s diversity of tourism attractions. The program is open for applications. If you are interested in applying, it is important that you take this time to carefully review the guidelines, check eligibility and ask questions before putting together an application. See below for additional resources.
Important to note:
- You must provide Proof of Incorporation, a CRA Business Number, Certificate of Indian Status Registry Number or a Métis Registry Number.
- You must have $2M Commercial General Liability Insurance.
- A letter of acknowledgment from your DMO/DMP is mandatory.*
- All partner contributions must be made electronically – via either EFT or e-transfer.
- There is one general application. Applications are submitted through an online form that can be re-accessed from the same device.
There are 4 categories to apply under:
1. New Indigenous Tourism Experiences
2. Photography/videography
3. Marquee & Wayfinding Signage
4. Translation

PARO is hosting a collaborative roundtable for women-owned businesses that sell packaged consumer goods or agri-technology.

This roundtable offers women access to networks, funding, and programming. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their views on the state of the Canadian economy. PARO is coordinating these discussions across the country, and the data will help inform recommendations for changes in economic policy.
